Card Condition Guide

All cards are self-assessed and graded conservatively using industry standards. Both the front and back of each card are considered when determining condition.

Condition Description
Gem Mint (GM) Flawless. No whitening, scratches, or defects.
Near Mint / Mint (NM/M) Very clean. May have tiny specks of whitening.
Near Mint (NM) Minor wear. Light whitening or faint marks.
Lightly Played (LP) Visible wear. Light scratches and whitening.
Moderately Played (MP) Heavy wear. Noticeable scratches or small dents.
Heavily Played (HP) Significant wear. Creases or bends may be present.
Damaged (DMG) Major damage. Tears, water damage, or ink marks.

Note: Cards are graded based on the most significant flaw. If both sides show wear, the condition reflects the overall card.

  • Card is clearly used but still intact

  • Surface and edges show heavy damage
  • Still identifiable but well-used

Damaged (DMG)

Damaged cards have major defects that affect both appearance and structure.

  • Creases, tears, water damage, or ink marks
  • May be bent or structurally compromised
  • Best suited for collectors or non-play use

Grading Standards

All cards are carefully inspected and graded using consistent internal standards aligned with industry practices.

Conditions are assessed conservatively to ensure accuracy and avoid overgrading. When in doubt, we always grade lower rather than higher.

Each card is evaluated based on its overall condition, including both front and back surfaces, with the most significant flaw determining the final grade.

Our goal is to provide clear, reliable condition assessments so you can purchase with confidence.
